MOVING NIGHTMARE WITH ISAAC'S RELOCATION AKA SUPER MOVERS ~ San Francisco, CA

I checked them with the BBB, and thought they sounded like they would do a good job moving my household goods from Sparks, Nevada to South Jordan, Utah in January 2008. I was so wrong. The mover's showed up and they were very unprofessional. I was told they would be trained and employed by Super Mover's - they looked like a group fresh from temp services. They proceeded to pack up our house, a "one day job" took three days, which I knew it would, but they were so short handed......they even enlisted the truck driver to help pack. They ate pizza while packing and got sauce on the backs of some of my pictures. This was nothing compared to what was to come.

Because of circumstances in Utah, we did not have our goods delivered until April, 2008. The delivery was incomplete, our slate floor was damaged.....well the following pictures will show. They packed a Llardo Statue of Christ with two crocks and some kitchen utensils in an 18"x18"x18" box. Of course the Llardo was broken and it cost me $250.00 to have it repaired. One of the curio cabinets lost it's front glass and it was just left there for us to take care of. The six glass shelves to the two curio cabinets were broken and it cost $140.00 to replace them, and that was without the dish line in the glass. My music holder to my piano was broken and cost $98.00 to replace. They broke my sewing machine, my bench from my bedroom, a leg was missing for several days to a table I have in my foyer. They used my floral arrangements as "packing materials" My sandblaster was broken, this is my hobby/business. My Lenox china, service for twelve, was just packed in a regular box.....no dish pack....no separators. Luckily it survived. They broke the glass to my coffee table. They constantly packed fragile things with oh, a compressor for instance. The case for the Llardo was broken ~ they packed that empty in a full box ~ of course it was crushed!! Many baskets, silk florals etc were also ruined. They broke the slate floor at the top of the stairs. They stood around until we finally bought them meals as needed. And the pictures will show other damage as well. They didn't know the first thing about packing.

Of course I filled a claim. But the final judgment on that was $249.00!! I didn't buy the additional insurance because I thought I was hiring professionals and there was such a large
deductible on each item.

So today is February 3, 2009......the claim company phone number I call is "out of service" of I call the infamous Isaac's Relocation ~ Super Movers in San Francisco and ask about the whereabouts of my totally inadequate check. Ellie goes to check. Oh my, it was put in the mail TODAY!!! How odd, how convenient. I'll let you know if I don't get it. So here are the pictures.
